Project Safe Neighborhoods (“PSN’) is a comprehensive, strategic approach to reducing gun violence and promoting safe communities in this country.

Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP)

OJJDP supports states, local communities, and tribal jurisdictions in their efforts to develop and implement effective programs for juveniles by sponsoring research, program, and training initiatives; developing priorities and goals and setting policies to guide federal juvenile justice issues; disseminating information about juvenile justice issues; and awarding funds to states to support local programming.

Bureau of Justice Assistance

The Bureau of Justice Assistance provides leadership and services in grant administration and criminal justice policy development to support local, state, and tribal justice strategies to achieve safer communities.

National Criminal Justice Reference Service (NCJRS)

NCJRS is a federally funded resource offering justice and drug-related information to support research, policy, and program development worldwide.

NCJRS Events 

National Gang Center (NGC)

The National Gang Center (NGC) offers training to law enforcement officers on topics regarding gang investigations and gang unit supervision, as well as seminars for law enforcement chief executives. These classes are provided on a regional basis. More specialized training and technical assistance is provided upon request.

NGC also offers general consultations or feedback to assist communities in navigating through the extensive range of strategies and programs as they build solutions that address their gangā€related problems.
